People Should stand firm on the core ethics of Islam and not be swayed by any speech or statement / IMPAR

New Delhi :(Press Release ) We draw attention to the statement of Muslim religious organisations like AIMPB in recent days where it is said that the current situation in India is worse than situation in 1857 and 1947 for Muslims. All religious parties must abstain from making such mindless statements which only create distrust and fear among the communities. We hope people,organisations will adopt liberal approach while making political statements and leave rigidity.
It is found that the organisations are giving statements on every issue which is beyond their purview. We feel that the statements of crucial political issues should be made by political experts/ parties who are sensitive and have complete knowledge about the subject.
The statement that the current situations with regards to safety and security of minorities in India is worse than 1857 and 1947, is an overstatement and serves no purpose than to spread insecurity and fear among the Muslim community.
We would remind the board to focus on their role of maintaining applicability and protection of muslim personal law rather than touching all other issues concerning Muslims in India.
We also request people to stand firm on the core ethics of Islam and not be swayed by any speech or statement that may instil fear and hatred among the community.
