IMPAR has started 10 points programme to fight the corona crisis : Dr MJ KHAN

New Delhi : In between, a lot of sad news there is some good news also IMPAR has announced today after a consultation meeting 10 point agenda has been set up for Fighting Covid-19. Dr MJ Khan National President of IMPAR has shared meeting details and emergency steps going to start from today.

He stated a consultation meeting took place today, joined by Gen. Zameeruddin Shah ,Dr. SY Quraishi, Mr. Najeeb Jung  ,Mr. Saeed Shervani ,Mr. Javed Yunus  ,Haji Salman Chisty ,Mr Nesar Ahmed, Ms Khairul Nisa  and My self Dr MJ Khan

The discussions focussed on organising community response to the corona crisis on emergency basis.  Following decisions were taken:

1. IMPAR Lunger to be organised with 1,000 packets distributed at 5 different locations outside major hospitals in Delhi. A similar lunger will also be organised at Dargah Ajmer under impar banner.

2. IMPAR Covid Awareness and Sanitation Drive to be launched at public places in Delhi. Spray of sanitizers and educating people on covid safety protocols.

3. Letter to Rajasthan CM on Dargah Ajmer offering its facilities for setting up covid care centre. Also letters to be sent to rest all CMs on the community facilities to be offered for the same. This will create much goodwill for the community in the state governments.

4. Exploring with Haj committees if Haj Houses could be offered for covid care units and also Khanqah, Madarsa and Masjids for the same purpose.

5. To Check with Eidgah committees if the grounds could be offered for govt creating covid facilities.

6. IMPAR to discuss with the community institutions if they could offer facilities for Goverment setting up vaccination centres. Also to check with Govt authorities about the need and protocols for the same.

7. Forming a panel of doctors for consultation support to covid patients.

8. Putting up impar helpline number at major hospitals in delhi and other cities for burial support. Also coordinating with waqf boards and kabristan committees to appeal them for recycling of grounds to accommodate unprecedented increase in numbers.

9. IMPAR to form volunteer groups in different cities for organising helps to covid cases and families in distress.

10. IMPAR to launch Zakat Portal for collecting funds, to be managed by a 11 member committee, to help the needy and also fund the covid work as listed above.
