Assembly Elections Verdict 2022: I believe we should take it positively, It's time to introspect and plan ahead / Dr.MJ Khan
In democracy the will of the people is final and we must respect and welcome the verdict
New Delhi : Dr. MJ Khan, President of IMPAR (Indian Muslims for Progress and Reforms), reacted to the Uttar Pradesh election results. In his statement issued today, he said “the election results today are on little unexpected lines than what most of us were expecting, given the history of governments not being repeated in any of these states for decades. But in democracy the will of the people is final and we must respect and welcome the verdict.
IMPAR, is an organization working for positive social change, to make the Indian society aware of its social responsibilities.
He said “ I believe we should take it positively, analyse situation objectively and figure out opportunities progressively. In my observations, an apparently adverse atmosphere creates conditions for better to come out, and the vice versa.
He expressed “We as a community get more focussed on education and economic opportunities and sustain the progress of recent years, rather further accelerate.
Dr Khan further said “I see today a greater sense of confidence, resilience and achievements among the community youths and women. We the Indian Muslims are blessed to uninterruptedly enjoy the dividends of democracy and diversity and contribute to the society and the nation.
He said “it’s also time for introspection and strategic planning, and engagement with the government and key stakeholders on issues concerning the community. IMPAR would like to play its small role in facilitating meaningful engagement. Trust, a more confident, and socially and economically empowered community evolves to serve the society better.
